The W. Inäbnit Laboratory for Molecular Quantum Materials (QuMat) is located at the Department of Chemistry, Biochemistry and Pharmaceutical Sciences (DCBP) of the University of Bern.
In 2025, our research group, jointly with physics teams from the University of Basel, has established the new WSS Research Center for Molecular Quantum Systems (molQ).
Our laboratory is devoted to the tailored design, synthesis and characterisation of novel organic molecules for molecular quantum materials, opening up exciting avenues in the pursuit of state-of-the-art topological quantum bits.
