First Access to Tetraazadiindenopyrenes via Selective Pyrrole Cyclization of Phenyl-Substituted Tetraazapyrene Derivatives on Au(111)
Tetraphenyl-substituted tetraazapyrene undergoes selective pyrrole cyclisation and C-C coupling on Au(111), forming a distinctive N-doped nanographene consisting of fused tetraazadiindenopyrene and phenanthrene cores with embedded pyridinic and graphitic nitrogen.
